About the role
- Prepare and send accurate and timely membership invoices based on product or membership type
- Maintain and accurately update customer files in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and accounting software to ensure data integrity and traceability
- Monitor payment status, following up as needed to avoid delays
- Generate automated past-due account emails and respond to customer inquiries partnering with internal Program Directors as needed
- Generate reports and provide account updates as requested
- Assist with compiling monthly and year-end financial statements, budget development and the annual financial audit
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies
- Serve as backup to the internal company vehicle Fleet Administrator
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting, Business or Finance degree preferred)
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance related role preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting practices and principles
- Working knowledge in Microsoft office applications, specifically Excel (i.e., excel tables, pivot tables and advanced formulas)
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar programs preferred
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software preferred
