About the role

  • Ensure consistently high-quality and accurate real-time passenger information for our customers across information systems
  • Monitor operations control center systems and register dispatch/operational incidents
  • Detect disruptions on National Express routes and proactively provide operationally relevant passenger information
  • Take corrective actions in case of incorrect or missing real-time data
  • Serve as a communication interface with, among others, the SPNV control center (regional rail), DB InfraGO, regional rail authorities, and National Express customer service teams
  • Manage timetable data for rail replacement and emergency services

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the transport sector
  • Experience and affinity for public transport (ÖPNV) / regional rail (SPNV)
  • Ideally, knowledge of computerized operations control systems and operational planning software
  • Willingness to work 24/7 shift schedules
  • Good knowledge of operational processes in railway operations
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Good German and English skills (written and spoken) and strong communication abilities
  • Confident use of common PC applications, particularly MS Office
  • Reliability, a high sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and teamwork
  • Structured working style
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
