About the role
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships with suppliers, clinical study partners and other external parties as required.
- Lead negotiations, structure agreements, and drive to closure in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and executive leadership.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities by understanding evolving landscapes and technologies in Early Cancer Detection.
- Work closely with R&D, Product, and Clinical Affairs to align external opportunities with internal strategy and capabilities.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development experience in biopharma, diagnostics, or life sciences necessary for the role.
- Track record of leading and closing strategic collaboration and licensing agreements.
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and closing deals in oncology, ideally in diagnostics.
- Strong scientific and commercial understanding of oncology, immunology, or related therapeutic areas necessary for the role.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s in healthcare, life sciences, pharmacy or related field is required; PhD in relevant field is a strong plus.
- Industry background in diagnostics, software, life sciences, or private equity/venture capital; 3+ years’ experience in Corporate Business Development, investment banking or management consulting.
