About the role
- Develop and maintain a robust enterprise risk framework to proactively identify, evaluate and mitigate organisational risks.
- Integrate risk management into strategic and operational decision-making, protecting the organisation and enabling informed leadership actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws and contractual obligations, in addition to broader regulatory requirements.
- Monitor emerging risks, regulatory changes and market trends to provide foresight and strategic guidance to the leadership team.
- Embed a strong culture of risk awareness, financial compliance and regulatory adherence across all teams, fostering accountability and proactive identification of risks and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership and the board on risk exposure, compliance status, mitigation efforts and continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, risk management, finance, compliance or related field.
- Professional certifications in risk management, compliance or governance (e.g., ISO 31000, GRC, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience of relevant work experience in leading on risk management, financial compliance and regulatory compliance functions, preferably in a large organisation.
- Experience implementing enterprise risk frameworks and compliance programs.
- Experience in corporate governance, risk frameworks (i.e. ISO 31000) and regulatory compliance.
