About the role
- Lead professional learning programs that inspire and support educators.
- Build and manage NSTA’s facilitator network and professional learning ecosystem.
- Turn NSTA’s content and thought leadership into engaging learning pathways.
- Share the impact of professional learning with compelling stories and data.
- Keep offerings future-ready by scanning for trends in Science and STEM education.
- Supervise Professional Learning Design Specialist.
- Report to the Chief Learning Officer and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in education, with expertise in professional learning design/facilitation.
- Familiarity with NGSS and the Framework for K–12 Science Education, or ability to learn quickly.
- Strong skills in curriculum design, adult learning, communication, and storytelling.
- A collaborative leadership style and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
- Public speaking experience (nice to have).
- Advanced skill with PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite (nice to have).
- Experience with Aptify, Personify, iMIS or another large AMS platform preferred.
