About the role

  • Support both existing and new Naval Architecture customers
  • Act as a trusted expert for NAPA’s ship design software
  • Solve real-world design challenges
  • Help customers maximize the use of NAPA solutions
  • Create training materials and deliver user training at NAPA offices or customer sites
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Software Development teams

Requirements

  • More than two years of work experience performing ship structural design or structural analyses
  • MSc or BSc in Science or some other domain related to our focus (e.g. Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture)
  • Ability to work independently in close cooperation with other team members
  • Experience in a design office or shipyard (beneficial)
  • Experience in structural detail design (beneficial)
  • Insight into Finite Element Analyses (beneficial)
  • Basic programming skills (beneficial)
  • Experience with CAD/CAE systems (e.g. NAPA Steel, AVEVA Marine, Cadmatic, beneficial)
  • Previous experience in the utilization of AI in service operations or data analysis (beneficial)
  • Excellent teaching skills (hoped for)
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills (required)
