Accounting Manager

• Completing the inventory and tax balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and correcting any variances where relevant
• Reviewing and updating standard costing for inventory annually, ensuring the proper application of standard costs throughout the inventory costing process
• Supporting the team in delivering a successful internal and external audits, with responsibility for all inventory related requests
• Producing timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
• Managing the senior accountants, ensuring all work is completed timely and accurately and providing coaching and training where necessary
• Reviewing and approving sales, excise, income, corporate, and other taxes
• Reviewing the bi-weekly US payroll reports and preparing the related journal entries
• Supporting the discovery, process improvement, and implementation of an incoming Inventory Management System ERP (planned for 2027)
• Responding to general accounting questions as the go-to person for accounting guidance in the US
• Supporting the broader team with project work as required

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own and deliver consistent, accurate and timely Plc-level financial reporting, with clear and insightful commentary
• Drive consistency across local business unit (BU) board reporting through standardised templates, models and best practice
• Partner with the FP&A Director to manage the Global Budget and Forecast processes, including timelines, inputs and outputs
• Own the consolidated rolling forecast model (R&O) and act as finance superuser for BU forecast models
• Embed, track and articulate key financial performance indicators alongside customer “north star” metrics
• Manage and develop customer cohort analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Support inter-company accounting and franchise fee processes
• Identify opportunities to optimise business performance through financial modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Be a key contributor to the Annual Report and Results Presentation, working closely with Accounting Control, Investor Relations and external stakeholders
• Act as a bridge between Global Finance and Data teams, understanding data architecture and driving consistency in reporting and insight
• Collaborate across global markets to share best practice, identify risks and opportunities, and support business growth
• Support ad-hoc strategic projects as required

Data Scientist

• Build, maintain, and improve demand forecasting models across product segments using Python and SQL, with support from senior team members
• Apply statistical forecasting techniques including time-series models, regression methods, and introductory machine learning approaches
• Support scenario modelling to assess the impact of promotions, pricing changes, seasonality, and uncertainty
• Analyse demand drivers such as customer behaviour, seasonality, pricing, and commercial activity to improve forecast accuracy and robustness
• Validate and monitor model performance to ensure outputs are accurate, reliable, and appropriate for use
• Track and report on forecasting KPIs including accuracy, bias, and demand variability, supporting root-cause analysis where forecasts differ from actuals
• Contribute to forecasting for new product and wine launches, using historical analogues and early performance indicators
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Supply, Finance, Category, Logistics, and Operations to translate business context into analytical inputs
• Prepare and communicate forecast outputs, risks, and opportunities for S&OP discussions, ensuring insights are clear, evidence-based, and actionable
• Partner with Platform Engineering and Data Engineering to support production data pipelines and model deployment
• Take part in the wider Analytics & Data community, sharing learnings and contributing to improvements in team practices
