Billing Specialist

• Support billing operations and financial transaction processing with accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Perform collections activities, including account research, payment reconciliation, customer communications, and maintaining collection records
• Support refund processing, payment verification, account reconciliation, and deposit verification
• Support billing cycle activities, financial transaction reviews, reporting, and reconciliation functions
• Handle account updates, research undeliverable communications, and coordinate issue resolution with internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, monitor account activity, communicate status updates, and escalate issues
• Provide backup support for billing, payment, reconciliation, and collection functions
• Communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, business development, data analysis, Finance, and NAIC support groups
• Report responsibility status to NIPR management weekly and/or monthly
• Handle customer complaints, support other staff, and perform other assigned duties
