About the role

  • Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the client’s needs in the context of the project
  • Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it
  • Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
  • Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
  • Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
  • Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
  • Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
  • Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
  • Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Requirements

  • Total experience 11+ years.
  • Strong experience working as a Product Consultant, Functional SME, Product Owner, or Solution Architect.
  • Hands-on functional expertise in HCM/WFM domains such as HR, Payroll, Scheduling, Forecasting, Timekeeping, Absence Management, or similar operational areas.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, platform-agnostic functional solutions aligned with business outcomes.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UKG Pro WFM, or similar systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, Infor, ADP, etc.
  • Strong experience in solution design, blueprinting, and gap-fit analysis across enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to identify value propositions, ROI-based solution narratives, and business benefits for clients.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, sales, marketing, and practice leaders to support solution roadmaps and offerings.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, automation, and accelerator development within enterprise solution environments.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, workshops, solution blueprinting, and defining integration touchpoints.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and UX/visualization tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, or Visio.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with good communication skills.
