About the role
- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PeopleSoft Integration Specialist to work with a federal government agency.
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and supporting integrations between PeopleSoft applications and internal/external systems.
- This role leads integration architecture, ensures data integrity, oversees technical teams, and partners with functional and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of PeopleSoft integrations using:
- Integration Broker
- Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Application Engine
- Component Interfaces
- File-based integrations (SFTP, flat files, XML, JSON)
- Define integration standards, best practices, naming conventions, and governance.
- Ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the technical lead for all PeopleSoft integrations.
- Review technical designs, code, and configurations to ensure quality and performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and HMIS Team
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, including performance and data consistency problems.
- Develop and configure inbound and outbound integrations.
- Manage message transformations, routing, error handling, and logging.
- Support real-time, near-real-time, and batch integrations.
- Coordinate integration testing, unit testing, system testing, and UAT support.
- Work closely with functional leads, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
- Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, interface specifications, and data mappings.
- Ensure integrations meet data privacy, security, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- US Citizenship required for this project
- 10+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft with cloud and third-party systems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, Oracle Cloud).
- Prior experience working on projects for a federal agency or government contractor will be a plus
