Acting as a second- and third-line escalation point for complex technical issues within the Customer Support team
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving software issues involving code, databases, integrations, and system architecture
Carrying out thorough root-cause analysis before referring issues to Consultants, Developers, or R&D
Developing fixes, workarounds, and bespoke modifications using the Sage X3 4GL toolset and supporting technologies
Communicating effectively with customers when needed, translating technical complexity into clear, understandable explanations
Working closely with Support Analysts, Developers, and R&D to improve outcomes and reduce repeat issues
Building small tools or scripts to improve internal efficiency and customer response times
Continuously developing your technical skills and contributing ideas for improvement and innovation

Requirements

Experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
Comfortable working with databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
Understanding of modern web technologies
A Levels (with Computer Science preferred) and a degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred but not essential
Must possess the required work permit, visa, or immigration document to work in the UK on an unrestricted basis.
