About the role

  • Lead recruitment strategy and execution for assigned roles
  • Source, screen, and engage candidates for clinical genomic sales roles, including Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and Regional Managers
  • Partner with commercial leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, territory and geography strategy, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load and deliver on weekly recruiting metrics
  • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess sales performance, scientific literacy, product, and role comprehension, cultural fit, ensuring equal consideration for candidates from underrepresented groups.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from intake to offer, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing techniques and strategies to attract top talent in biotech or adjacent industries and therapeutic areas, including online sourcing, networking, and referrals; build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and team members, providing guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Collaborate with compensation, hiring managers, business unit leadership, and HR to ensure alignment on compensation, compliance, and onboarding.
  • Curate best-in-class candidate experience with a focus on clear and consistent communication and engagement throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate salary and benefits packages with candidates and drive offer and onboarding processes.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and hiring velocity to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database, tracking inclusion metrics and ensuring compliance with recruiting and application reporting requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inclusive recruitment and sourcing, continuously improving sourcing effectiveness and recruitment processes.
  • Recruit for other roles in commercial organizations such as sales training, sales enablement, sales operations, product, communications, marketing, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Human Resources, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting B2B field sales professionals, preferably in biotech, diagnostics, pharma, or medical device is preferred; comparable recruiting experience in biotech will be considered.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring sales professionals in complex, regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of clinical genomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine is a plus.
  • Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, job boards, and industry networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
