About the role
- You handle all transfer operations related to a death, including preparing, dressing, placing, and caring for the deceased.
- You prepare and conduct viewings, memorial services, and burials/committals.
- You independently manage the in-house storage and fleet logistics.
- You reliably handle required dealings with authorities.
- You take on on-call duties on a rotating multi-week schedule.
Requirements
- You demonstrate a high level of discretion and compassion, as well as empathy and respect toward relatives and the deceased.
- You work independently, are able to carry out and plan tasks on your own, and have an eye for detail.
- You are physically resilient and mentally able to cope with emotionally challenging situations.
- Valid driving licence (Class B / Category B).
- Owning a car for on-call duties is advantageous but not required.
