Engineer

• Works under the direction of more senior engineering staff.
• Provide day to day support in the area of engineering for all projects.
• Develop and maintain structural, systems and controls and or other engineering specifications, procedures and directives.
• Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, pressure vessels.
• Participate in materials testing programs and research and development.
• Work with other Junior Engineers on routine projects and continue to receive training and development on the job.
• May provide technical guidance to technicians and support to other professionals.
• Design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost.
• Conduct feasibility studies, resource requirements both people and materials and setting standards for both operating and development activities.
• Responsible for general engineering support for capital projects for oil and natural gas facilities.
• Accountable for providing general engineering support as directed by engineering teams.

Junior Engineer

• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of distribution line design projects

Project Manager III

• Develops operations models from the Network Model Management System (NMMS)
• Works with the Network Data Support Working Group (NDSWG) members on operational model data exchange and transmission network model maintenance in NMMS.
• Reviews generator and transmission equipment data submitted by resource entities and works with resource entities to correct invalid model data.
• Manages transmission system model software infrastructure and develops tools to assist in managing transmission models which includes database infrastructure, model data exchange interfaces, and data export formats
• Develops and maintains modeling software tools in C# and Java, to validate transmission network data submissions using electrical engineering principles by doing data comparison and validity checks
• Develops rules to validate data submissions in operations and planning models using SQL
• Manage projects to upgrade the NMMS and MOD applications to implement desired new functionality, reviews system patches, and helps administer servers.
• Provides training and mentoring of members of the Engineering Development Program (EDP)
• Works closely with Network Model Maintenance, Network Model Coordination, Resource Integration, System Operations, System Planning, Forward Markets, Client Services, and Grid Applications Development
• Reviews, drafts, and presents changes to the Protocols, Guides, procedures, training material for EDP and for Market Participants (MPs), and other supporting documents relative to modeling
• Reviews changes to NERC standards to assess if changes to modeling methodologies are needed

Power Systems Network Modeling Engineer

Analyst

• Processes Network Operations Model Change Request (NOMCR), Collaborative Action Model Request (CAMR), Resource Services Change Request (RSCR)
• Develops graphical representations of these Change Requests in the EMS
• Coordinates the NOMCRs, CAMRs, RSCRs, and one-line displays within the Network Model Group and other departments
• Coordinates day to day model and one-line creation schedule
• Creates and maintains the EMS one-line displays
• Analyzes submitted NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR data and provides rapid and effective response to customer requests, both internal and external
• Updates Production and Future one-line diagrams as required by the Protocols
• Facilitates/resolves Market Participant model data issues
• Attend, observes, and represents Network Model Coordination at NDSWG meetings and other meetings held
• Works with generation resources external to the company on RSCR submissions and GenMaps for EPS metering purposes
• Works closely with System Operations, System Operations Support, Market Operating Services Support, Client Services, Metering and other internal departments regarding models, one-liners, and model data
• Creates GenMap packages and coordinates it with the Generation Resource
• Creates and utilizes data mining mechanisms and makes update requests for improvements

Network Model Analyst

• The P&C Scoper manages work in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision.
• The P&C Scoper is expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues.
• Employees in this position are fully competent in the use of concepts and procedures.
• The P&C Scoper identifies problems, develops solutions and takes action to resolve.
• Create the Protection & Controls (“Electrical”) scope of work for capital improvement projects to ensure constructability, regulatory compliance and adherence to industry and Company standards.
• Engages with a variety of project stakeholders (i.e. Construction and Maintenance, Project Management, Planning and Operations, etc.) to ensure stakeholder needs are accounted for in project scopes.
• Attends site visits to review current conditions and planned changes with project stakeholders
• Completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight with the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces.
