About the role
- Manage engineering aspects of customer RMA FA process and drive a complete understanding of RMA FA root cause, yield effects, drivers, and trends to monitor the quality and reliability for RF, Power, and Sensor IC products.
- Ensure high quality and high yielding product at IC and module level.
- Coordinate activities in support of the analysis of customer returns (RMA), yield enhancement, and overall quality of the final products.
- Interface with Product, Test, Design, Manufacturing, Foundry, FA, Reliability, customers, and downstream manufacturing sites.
- Ensure high quality and high yielding material at downstream manufacturing stages.
- Apply data analysis skills to improve product yields during production.
- Drive and perform failure analysis studies on customer returns or to study failure modes that impact yield.
- Work with FA team to provide EFA guidance and define PFA objectives, perform fault isolation, and help interpret results.
Requirements
- Required education : Master's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.
- Work Experience Requirements: 12 months as Engineer, Yield Enhancement Engineer or related.
- Additional minimum requirements : work experience to include at least 12 months with each of the following: JMP, and Cadence for layout and schematic review; Evaluating large datasets and applying statistical methods to draw conclusions; Semiconductor failure analysis tools and techniques including ATE, bench testing, SEM tools, TEM tools and obirch; Knowledge in semiconductor fabrication process; Electrical data analysis and failure analysis.
