Manage our cloud resources and services on AWS for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of our application code.
Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., New Relic) to ensure system reliability and performance.
Manage configuration and deployment of applications and systems using configuration management tools.
Implement security and compliance best practices for infrastructure and deployments, ensuring compliance with organizational or regulatory standards.
Automate repetitive tasks such as backups, patching, security scans, and failovers to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Work closely with Development, QA, and Client Success teams to support their needs and foster a culture of collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or another relevant discipline.
4+ years of proven hands-on experience as a DevOps, SRE or relevant experience.
Proven design experience with the Amazon Cloud (AWS).
Experience and exposure using AI tools to support innovation.
Strong knowledge in Oracle or PostgreSQL with a preference in Oracle.
Hands-on experience in DevOps automation and scripting with tools and languages such as Terraform, git, github, bash, python, etc.
Strong security experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
Understanding of Software coding and agile development methodologies.
Experience with orchestration tools/IAC such as terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
Motivated, self-sufficient, resourceful, and work well with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
AWS Certification is considered an asset.
Terraform Certification is considered as asset.
