About the role

  • Support automation, development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines, infrastructure, and reporting systems
  • Process, clean, and transform large datasets to ensure data integrity and availability for analytics and decision-making
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with senior data engineers and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and improve data workflows
  • Maintain and extend existing data warehouse including ETL processes (dbt, Apache Airflow, SQL)
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to build source tables for Power BI dashboards
  • Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency and organize electronic records
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities and assist in creating reports and proposals for management
  • Provide IT support and assist in maintaining company IT hardware and software systems

Requirements

  • Very good command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • Finished university degree – in computer science or an engineering field
  • Availability to work full USA hour shift (EST, CST, MST, or PST)
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (fulltime) in the IT field with an emphasis on data warehouse ETL (dbt, Apache Airflow, SQL) and PowerBI
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience leveraging Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to build dynamic dashboards
  • Professional on-job experience working with Python including common libraries like scipy, pandas, scikit-learn etc. (just python coding classes do not count)
  • Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action.
  • High speed Wi-Fi connection
  • Be able to work 8 hour shifts (i.e. PST)
