About the role

  • Lead and manage the Regional Full Price UK & Ireland business, representing the Mulberry brand.
  • Drive a results-driven culture focused on KPIs: Sales, Conversion, Swing, ATV, UPT.
  • Use data and insights to inform decisions, develop strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Leaders; hold weekly and monthly meetings and conduct feedback sessions.
  • Manage employee disciplinaries and ensure HR procedures are followed across stores.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop talent; execute training calendars focused on service, product, grooming, and selling techniques.
  • Plan, forecast, and report on sales, costs, and business performance; manage the region’s P&L to budget.
  • Implement shrink plans, maintain stocktakes under 1% gross value, and manage loss prevention.
  • Project-manage new store openings and closures; ensure compliance with Health & Safety and security systems.
  • Drive customer data capture and CRM activity; attract and nurture HNWI clients through clienteling and relationship building.
  • Manage regional Visual Merchandiser and partner with Global VM Manager to ensure brand visual standards.
  • Partner with Buying & Merchandising, Visual, Marketing, and Head Office functions to maximise store support and growth.
  • Champion Mulberry values and B Corp sustainability principles across Climate, Circularity, and Community.

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel with a Driving Licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must live in the North West/North East area of England.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Area Manager.
  • Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, motivational approach.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative.
  • Experience in luxury retail preferred.
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships to achieve objectives.
  • Experience managing HR procedures, disciplinaries, performance reviews, and grievances.
