About the role

  • The Senior Digital Designer will be a key stakeholder in shaping the brand's digital output, working closely with the Art Director and the Image and Content Project Manager, alongside and manage the Mid-weight Digital Designers.
  • The Senior Digital Designer will support the refining and evolving of the brand Image, contributing to the building of iconography and brand signatures across digital outputs. The position will be required to present solutions to briefs that support the brand strategy, both commercially and creatively. The right candidate must be highly creative with the ability to take hold of a project from the initial concept stage to delivery.
  • Tasked with leading medium and large-scale design projects from brief through to delivery, the Senior Digital Designer will work closely with the other members of the Image Team and Creative Studio, as well as the Brand Marketing, the Digital Marketing and Digital Trade teams to create and roll out campaigns:
  • Designing campaign roll-outs of all scales for all of the brand's digital touchpoints globally, comprising emails, homepages, landing pages for mulberry.com, owned global social channels, and third-party channels. The role will be responsible for creating and developing all manner of digital ad formats, taking supplied videos and stills, adding end screens and formatting to meet the specific requirements of digital platforms, Out of Home media sites etc.
  • The role will occasionally work with external specialists - such as animators, illustrators, CGI artists, composers Art Directors, etc - creating briefs, managing the progression of projects, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring strong results delivered on time.

Requirements

  • Experience working in agency or in-house.
  • A strong understanding of the luxury and retail sectors.
  • Expertise in design with a strength in research.
  • Expert working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe CC & Figma.
  • Video editing skills are essential with good knowledge of Premiere and After Effects. Animation skills are highly beneficial though not essential.
  • A high degree of understanding of design and design strategy for Social Media is key.
  • An ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A strong sense of team with the capacity to be flexible and practical as well as collaborative.
