About the role

  • Experience in application support with knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
  • Use domain knowledge and relevant expertise to identify the area of fault (code, environment, or configuration) and guide the appropriate team in designing and implementing the fix.
  • Responsible for delivering technical diagnosis and solution recommendations within a specific technology area and for assigned applications.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding that spans multiple platforms and application-level expertise across a portfolio of applications, with broad awareness of business strategic priorities to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop technical application support skills with detailed experience on industry-standard platforms such as Google Workspace, .NET/IIS, Azure Cloud, Microsoft SQL, Kubernetes, RPA, and others.
  • Possess strong technical capabilities, analytical skills, and application knowledge.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex application issues and leverage tools and resources appropriately to identify solutions, documented or not.
  • Manage multiple conflicting deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the team and across the firm.

Requirements

  • Kubernetes experience or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a MUST (CKA certification preferred).
  • Containerization experience (e.g., Docker) is a MUST.
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline knowledge) is a MUST (Azure DevOps certification preferred).
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud (PaaS) experience required: Azure Portal, App Services, Redis Cache, Application Insights, Blob Storage; experience with RabbitMQ is required.
  • .NET Framework code experience (operational understanding) — intermediate level.
  • Microsoft SQL: able to write intermediate queries and understand complex joins.
  • Terraform or ARM templates — nice to have.
  • Experience creating Linux shell scripts or PowerShell scripts; experience authoring new PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL).
  • Splunk: able to write queries and interpret returned data.
  • CyberArk: experience managing servers via RDP sessions.
