About the role

  • Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection specialists.
  • Reporting to our Contract Manager, the Engineer will liaise regularly with their Senior Engineer.
  • Work with our established team and look after a selection of key accounts.
  • Systems vary but include Advanced, Notifier, Morley, Gent with training provided.
  • Mentor the Trainee Engineers within their team.
  • Ensure that the work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Receive time, support, and resources to install and maintain the systems to the highest possible standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with a range of different products and manufacturers, with at least 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
  • The desire to install and maintain systems to the highest standards.
  • Electrically competent; able to carry out safe isolations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Experience with Installing, Commissioning and Maintaining Systems.
  • Customer orientated, with the ability to adapt and respond to clients in different situations.
  • Good attention to detail and a person who can prioritise and manage their time effectively.
  • Someone with a passion to continue to learn and develop themselves and their skills.
  • This position would suit someone who prefers a varied role, completing maintenance, reactive works and small works.
