About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand testing requirements and develop effective testing strategies for interface and integration scenarios.
  • Configure, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Integration testing software and other relevant tools eg. Robot Framework
  • Identify, report, and track defects, and work closely with development and SAP teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct thorough testing of interfaces and integrations, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, provide comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools related to integration testing and SAP systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in interface and integration testing, preferably with experience in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP R/3 or S/4.
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of API-based and file integrations, and ability to apply testing techniques to these scenarios.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including the ability to script and maintain automated test suites.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems and proficiency in defect reporting and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • What is a plus:
  • Experience with other integration platforms and technologies beyond SAP, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules and business processes, enabling better understanding and validation of integration requirements.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques, enabling the identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks.
  • Understanding of security testing principles and techniques, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of integrated systems.
  • Certification in software testing or relevant SAP certifications would be advantageous.
