About the role
- Perform financial planning, control and analysis to support strategic management.
- Manage and forecast cash flow (short-, medium- and long-term).
- Prepare and monitor management reports and financial indicators (KPIs), proposing actions to optimize cash flow and reduce delinquency.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance and financial controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Propose and implement improvements to financial processes and controls to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with partner areas (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Controllership and Commercial/Sales).
- Oversee strategies for billing, accounts receivable, collections and bank reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate objectives.
- Negotiate directly with strategic clients and in critical situations, managing complex credit recovery agreements.
- Supervise and validate bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of accounting balances and integrity of information.
- Serve as a technical reference, guiding and supporting the team in decision-making and resolution of complex issues.
- Prepare strategic financial reports and analyses to support senior management decisions and business planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Engineering
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections
- Experience in reporting and developing performance indicators and KPIs
- Knowledge of integrated financial processes and routines
- Knowledge of billing and credit recovery
- Risk management and compliance: adherence to accounting and tax standards and internal policies
- Financial planning: support for strategic decision-making and project viability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with emphasis on intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience in Logistics or Transportation companies
