Install, optimize, and maintain public radio systems (VHF, UHF, 700/800), 911/ECW/Airbus equipment, NG911 infrastructure, and NICE public safety systems.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance, with an emphasis on trend analysis and documentation, to ensure continuous system operation.
Develop effective solutions for complex technical challenges encountered during system implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support.
Stay current with the latest technologies and troubleshooting methods in transport, communications, and RF systems.
Work collaboratively with system managers, engineering, project management, sales, system technologists, and partners to design, implement, optimize, and transition advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Participate in a 50% on-call rotation and travel 25-50% within the T7 region as needed.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Engineering, Networking Equipment, IP Networking, Solutions Architecture, ASTRO 25, P25, WAVE VoIP, or Military experience.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
