About the role
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
- Adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in an agile, fast-paced innovation environment.
- Champion a user-centered approach in the development of AI technologies.
- Lead the design and development of intuitive voice user interfaces (VUI) for mission-critical applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing focused on voice commands and multimodal interactions.
- Contribute to best practices and ethical guidelines for Human-AI interaction.
- Effectively communicate research findings and design concepts to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years proven experience in Design with demonstrable experience in Voice User Interface (VUI) design.
- Leadership experience is a plus, but not required.
- Portfolio showcasing exceptional UX design for apps and services.
- Strong understanding of core Artificial Intelligence concepts including Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI.
- Proven experience designing and prototyping voice user interfaces.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- A deep passion for understanding and advocating for the user.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
