About the role

  • Develop and execute product strategies and marketing initiatives tailored for the Japanese market in collaboration with global teams.
  • Build mid- to long-term growth strategies for key research products and services.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define product positioning and portfolio strategies.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from product planning and introduction to optimization and growth.
  • Work closely with sales, technical specialists, and operations teams to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Monitor product performance and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities aligned with global strategy.
  • Develop training materials and conduct product training for sales teams and distribution partners.
  • Support digital initiatives and sales funnel management using CRM tools.
  • Act as a bridge between commercial teams, scientists, and operational stakeholders.
  • Provide technical insights and help define deliverables for complex projects.
  • Contribute to closing opportunities and enhancing customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or project management within life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong scientific communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience collaborating with international teams or overseas headquarters.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across commercial and technical functions.
  • Strong analytical and information management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of preclinical research, disease models, or laboratory research tools (preferred).
  • Experience supporting drug discovery, translational research, or biomedical research environments (preferred).
  • Understanding of immunology, oncology, inflammation, or related therapeutic areas (preferred).
  • Business-level Japanese and English.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
