About the role
- Develop and execute product strategies and marketing initiatives tailored for the Japanese market in collaboration with global teams.
- Build mid- to long-term growth strategies for key research products and services.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define product positioning and portfolio strategies.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from product planning and introduction to optimization and growth.
- Work closely with sales, technical specialists, and operations teams to ensure successful product adoption.
- Monitor product performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities aligned with global strategy.
- Develop training materials and conduct product training for sales teams and distribution partners.
- Support digital initiatives and sales funnel management using CRM tools.
- Act as a bridge between commercial teams, scientists, and operational stakeholders.
- Provide technical insights and help define deliverables for complex projects.
- Contribute to closing opportunities and enhancing customer engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or project management within life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong scientific communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience collaborating with international teams or overseas headquarters.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across commercial and technical functions.
- Strong analytical and information management skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Knowledge of preclinical research, disease models, or laboratory research tools (preferred).
- Experience supporting drug discovery, translational research, or biomedical research environments (preferred).
- Understanding of immunology, oncology, inflammation, or related therapeutic areas (preferred).
- Business-level Japanese and English.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
