About the role

  • Lead and develop one or more teams in the Application and Data Engineering team
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient data platform solutions
  • Collaborate with application teams to design and deploy microservices-based architectures
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization

Requirements

  • At least 12 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced understanding and experience in building data pipelines, data engineering and database technologies like IBM DB2, Postgres, Snowflake
  • Experience in working with large datasets using a combination of technology (Big data platforms like Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and scripting languages like Python, Perl
  • Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to technology and business leadership.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI, and Tableau.
