About the role
- Manage a regional team of Mortgage Consultants.
- Responsible for daily performance and productivity of the team.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Act as the escalation point for issues involving Private Bankers and Financial Advisors.
- Oversee lead management for new loan referrals.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Partner with Complex Directors and Branch Managers to build relationships.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and support Regional Manager as needed.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of mortgage experience (Operations and/or Sales).
- 1-2 years leadership experience.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of call center operations and best practices.
- Deep knowledge of mortgage products and non-conforming credit guidelines.
- Expert level knowledge of credit/underwriting guidelines and credit risk assessment.
- Established track record of developing and maintaining High Net Worth relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations.
- Eligibility to register with NMLS as a mortgage loan originator.
