About the role
- Lead the digital sales team and oversee the traditional broadcast sales team to achieve station revenue goals across all platforms.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for digital, linear, and integrated multi-platform advertising campaigns.
- Innovate new business models and revenue streams, maximizing digital inventory and traditional spots.
- Collaborate with clients to craft strategic, customized advertising solutions that leverage digital technology and traditional media.
- Partner closely with the General Manager, Programming, and Marketing departments to align sales initiatives with overall station objectives.
- Oversee sales operations at multiple locations, including Tri-Cities (KVEW) and Yakima (KAPP).
- Manage sales budgeting, inventory, pricing, recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Work collaboratively with Morgan Murphy Media’s sales leadership across markets to share best practices and drive company-wide success.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of sales management experience with a strong focus on digital sales and traditional broadcast sales.
- Previous Digital Sales Manager a plus.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with digital marketing technologies, data analytics, and the innovative application of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in sales and advertising strategies.
- Proven success in managing multi-platform media sales including digital, local, national, and political advertising.
- Expertise in digital advertising technology, programmatic sales, and integrated campaign development.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams of ten or more.
- Proficiency with sales and CRM tools including Wide Orbit Media Sales and Rumple (preferred).
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel for data-driven sales decision-making.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- A history of consistently achieving and surpassing revenue goals.
