About the role

  • Responsible for both the financial and schedule performance of the program
  • Sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance to plan analytics
  • Developing integrated master plans and schedules in support of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Key contributor to the Program Controls team to foster continuous improvements
  • Developing and accurately maintaining integrated master/sub-project schedules, ensuring schedule logic is maintained (horizontal & vertical)
  • Consolidating cost and schedule data to calculate and analyze program performance
  • Developing ad hoc reporting and analysis to identify financial trends
  • Coordinating work activities with project team members and assisting in resolving schedule conflicts
  • Conducting detailed analysis of major Program Events
  • Working with the Program Manager to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting
  • Working with the finance organization to ensure cost management policies are being maintained
  • Interpreting status for potential cost and/or schedule impacts

Requirements

  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience within planning, scheduling, cost management and financial control
  • Demonstrable knowledge of engineering, accounting or a related field through a degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Mastery level of scheduling within MS project (or equivalent), from initial schedule development through to program completion, and EVMS principles
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated through experience
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Able to be onsite at Tewkesbury and Wolverhampton each week
