About the role
- Responsible for both the financial and schedule performance of the program
- Sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance to plan analytics
- Developing integrated master plans and schedules in support of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Key contributor to the Program Controls team to foster continuous improvements
- Developing and accurately maintaining integrated master/sub-project schedules, ensuring schedule logic is maintained (horizontal & vertical)
- Consolidating cost and schedule data to calculate and analyze program performance
- Developing ad hoc reporting and analysis to identify financial trends
- Coordinating work activities with project team members and assisting in resolving schedule conflicts
- Conducting detailed analysis of major Program Events
- Working with the Program Manager to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting
- Working with the finance organization to ensure cost management policies are being maintained
- Interpreting status for potential cost and/or schedule impacts
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience within planning, scheduling, cost management and financial control
- Demonstrable knowledge of engineering, accounting or a related field through a degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Mastery level of scheduling within MS project (or equivalent), from initial schedule development through to program completion, and EVMS principles
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated through experience
- Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Able to be onsite at Tewkesbury and Wolverhampton each week
