About the role
- Identify priority areas within your region and organise your outreach.
- Build and qualify a pipeline of early-stage leads, focusing on schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).
- Communicate clearly in English with school leaders to understand their needs and goals.
- Create personalised outreach campaigns that reflect regional differences and local education trends.
- Use a consultative approach to engage with a variety of school types and decision-making structures.
- Work with the Sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
- Partner with the Marketing team to follow up on inbound leads and campaign activity.
- Support outreach linked to events, conferences, and visits.
- Maintain accurate data in CRM tools and report on activity, trends, and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role (EdTech or SaaS experience is a plus, but not essential).
- A track record of working towards targets or KPIs in a sales or SDR environment.
- A creative mindset and an interest in developing targeted, personalised outreach campaigns.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Some understanding of the education landscape across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Curiosity, cultural awareness, and an inclusive approach to working with others.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
