About the role

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality execution of HR programs, processes, and employee support across the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing timely, accurate support and resolving day-to-day HR questions while escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain the integrity of employee data and documentation within HR systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness across all records.
  • Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure HR operations run smoothly and align with business needs.
  • Own and continuously improve core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation standards, and employee lifecycle workflow.
  • Maintain and optimize the digital personnel file system, ensuring records are complete, compliant, and consistently organized.
  • Own HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring processes are documented, maintained, and followed across the People team.
  • Support administration of benefits and leave programs, including employee inquiries, enrollments, and coordination with brokers and vendors.
  • Coordinate with external partners and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain continuity across HR programs.
  • Draft and process offer letters and maintain documentation related to compensation changes and approvals.
  • Generate and maintain HR reporting, including headcount, turnover, and workforce data, ensuring consistency and reliability of reporting outputs.
  • Track completion of required training and compliance programs and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Partner with HR leadership to support execution of company-wide HR initiatives and programs, including performance management cycles and other core people processes.
  • Support the administration of key talent processes, including performance reviews and related documentation, ensuring processes are executed consistently and on time.
  • Contribute to HR projects and operational initiatives that improve processes, systems, and overall effectiveness of the People function.
  • Identify inefficiencies in HR processes and systems and recommend improvements to increase consistency, accuracy, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, preferred
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience with demonstrated growth in responsibility
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or actively in-flight)
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to apply them
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy, organization, and documentation
  • Ability to operate in an environment where not everything is fully defined, using sound judgment to move work forward without waiting for perfect direction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support employees and work effectively across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through without constant oversight
  • Process-minded, with an interest in building structure, improving documentation, and creating consistency where it does not yet exist
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and regulatory gray areas while maintaining a people-first mindset.
