About the role
- Manage all your business development activity through Sales Force
- Prospect and identify new accounts from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Be a solutions expert for clients for compliance with air monitoring regulations
- Qualify leads via phone, email, and face to face meetings
- Schedule and facilitate discovery calls with prospects and clients
- Attend conferences and trade shows as a brand ambassador
- Meet quarterly sales targets from proactive selling activity
- Ensure customer satisfaction and share results with the Senior Management Team
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and continue professional education
Requirements
- 5+ years of selling experience with a proven track record of success in business development for technical services or products, preferably in environmental related fields
- An undergraduate degree in a technical field (i.e., chemistry, engineering, life sciences)
- Proficiency with Sales Force
- Ability to proactively prospect, pursue and qualify leads
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Gmail
- Strong proficiency with CRM best practices (Sales Force or similar)
- Ability to engage in high-quality sales administration activities
