About the role

  • Manage all your business development activity through Sales Force
  • Prospect and identify new accounts from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Be a solutions expert for clients for compliance with air monitoring regulations
  • Qualify leads via phone, email, and face to face meetings
  • Schedule and facilitate discovery calls with prospects and clients
  • Attend conferences and trade shows as a brand ambassador
  • Meet quarterly sales targets from proactive selling activity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and share results with the Senior Management Team
  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends and continue professional education

Requirements

  • 5+ years of selling experience with a proven track record of success in business development for technical services or products, preferably in environmental related fields
  • An undergraduate degree in a technical field (i.e., chemistry, engineering, life sciences)
  • Proficiency with Sales Force
  • Ability to proactively prospect, pursue and qualify leads
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Gmail
  • Strong proficiency with CRM best practices (Sales Force or similar)
  • Ability to engage in high-quality sales administration activities
