💰 $70,000 - $80,000 per year

About the role

  • Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data using an automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll, and ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws, SOX compliance, etc.
  • Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.
  • Assists managers with resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Calculates hours from time entry system(s) as applicable.
  • Assists with HR related projects.
  • Assists with evaluating and providing recommendations in regard to systems, policies and processes.
  • Assists with completing pre-acquisition and post-acquisition support tasks related to payroll integration and training, etc.
  • Assists with items needed for audits.
  • Assist with post-payroll reporting and reconciliation activities.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Participates in company’s continuous improvement programs and provides support to team efforts.
  • Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with payroll systems and related software programs
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Familiarity with Workday, ADP Smart Compliance, ADP Payment Solutions, or other HRIS/Payroll systems highly preferred
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to payroll, company policies, and operations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent organization and time/project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated)
  • English language competency
  • Ability/willingness to travel as needed
