About the role
- Own projects from inception to deployment, take on more responsibility with fewer rules, and act like an owner.
- Working with the product team and other stakeholders to identify and iteratively deliver value to customers.
- Lay a great web foundation for other engineers to build on, helping them move fast (e.g., through reusable components) and with high quality (e.g., applying design patterns and principles, increasing test coverage).
- Improve our tooling for shipping experiments quickly and building our customer analytics capabilities
- Navigate with some ambiguity while solving problems creatively from the ground up and tenaciously pursuing solutions to difficult challenges.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience delivering production-grade frontend code, performing code reviews, and working on full-stack application design and architecture.
- 3+ years of recent React experience.
- Strong JavaScript and Typescript skills and experience developing with React framework on a large, complex codebase.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as react-testing-library, playwright, or Cypress is required.
- Experience tech-leading critical projects or initiatives within your team and organization.
- You are ready to thrive, communicate with your team, and collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment
- You're product-minded and user-driven
- You're pragmatic and biased towards action; you're able to see the bigger picture and reason about prioritization and scope
