💰 $55,000 - $100,000 per year

About the role

  • Oversee daily operations and create efficiencies with crews, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide training and guidance to field crews following ANSI and company standards.
  • Monitor crew productivity to ensure goals and targets are met and exceeded.
  • Be responsible for the hiring, training & development, and retention of tree crew.
  • Help manage fleet and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Sell and help Deliver Plant Health Care solutions.
  • Business Development, Sales, and ‘Back-Office’ Operations.
  • Schedule and meet prospective residential and commercial clients to assess and propose tree care services, follow up, and close sales.
  • Coordinate training to ensure all field personnel are properly trained, licensed, etc.
  • Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and be willing to enforce those and company safety policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • NE Certified Arborist, ISA Certification, City License(s), CTSP, TRAQ, TCIA awareness, and/or other certifications desired but all not required.
  • Lead by Example: Engage in the work when needed; provide guidance and direction daily.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, experience training employees, record of continuous personal and professional development.
  • Strong leadership skills: maintain an active, collaborative, vibrant, and solution-centered approach with employees, customers, and management.
