About the role

  • Understand customers’ needs to determine the best solution for them.
  • Follow up to meet established service level agreements.
  • Stay well informed and up to date about current and prospective customers to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of Solutions Moneris’ products, services, pricing and ongoing marketing activities, as well as competitors’ products, pricing, strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Keep up with industry trends to assist in educating merchants.
  • Manage inbound sales calls as well as partner-generated leads.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience prospecting new businesses, negotiating, and selling in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and influence others.
  • Strong computer skills and excellent analytical ability.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows.
  • Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • 1+ year of experience in the payments industry is an asset.
