About the role
- Fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building with store staff
- Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
- Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and collaborate with sales representatives to optimize product visibility
- Construct promotional displays and enhance seasonal sales and new product launches
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays
- Order product via iPad for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
- Ensure Nabisco brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained according to Mondelēz guidelines
- Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate issues to management
- Follow daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
- Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Positive and professional attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
- Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Kingwood, TX (secondary: Humble, TX)
- Schedule availability: Five days per week including one weekend day; start by 5 am
