About the role
- Fulfill merchandising needs of customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays
- Represent Mondelēz and brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit) in-store and work with sales reps to optimize product visibility
- Carry out in-store visits according to DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays
- Order product via iPad for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
- Ensure negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate issues to management
- Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager for efficient in-store service
- Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches
- Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz
- Physically move products from stock rooms to store floor and stock shelves; perform repetitive lifting and carrying
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Positive and professional attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to perform physical work: repetitive lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing/pulling over 50 lbs
- Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25 miles range from the primary location: Farmington, ME
- Schedule availability required: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat
