About the role
- Responsible for leading Mondelēz’s national business with the managed service partners.
- Focus on delivering profitable case growth, strengthening distribution, and expanding Mondelēz presence.
- Lead national strategy, business planning, contract negotiation, trade investment management, and development of marketing programs.
- Collaborate with distributor category management, culinary teams, and national accounts leaders.
- Partner with field sales and broker teams for execution and resolve distribution gaps.
- Use business intelligence to identify distribution gaps and prioritize opportunities.
- Drive case growth and improve distribution.
- Lead negotiation and renewal of national agreements with Managed Services partners.
- Manage all trade investment and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum five years of experience in Away From Home Managed Services/GPOs.
- Preferred experience in healthcare or education channel.
- Strong understanding of pricing models and operator selling dynamics.
- Demonstrated success leading contract negotiations, managing trade investment, and building marketing programs that deliver a triple win.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate across sales, finance, supply chain, marketing, and culinary teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and large national customers simultaneously.
- Travel requirements: 25-35% travel required (distributor HQ, regional divisions, business planning sessions, industry events).
