About the role
- Greet patients arriving at the HITH clinic, answer phone enquiries, and confirm appointments.
- Manage patient phone and face to face inquires and liaising with the nurse in charge
- Registering patient information, admissions, discharges, transfers and booking of inpatient and outpatient appointments.
- Stock control
- Reconsolidating invoices and other clerical tasks
- Liaising with other administration assistants across the HITH services from other sites.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Teamwork, compassion and problem solving
- Experience with Microsoft 365, word, excel
- Experience in EMR, SMR, IPM computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous administration skills in health care
