About the role

  • Greet patients arriving at the HITH clinic, answer phone enquiries, and confirm appointments.
  • Manage patient phone and face to face inquires and liaising with the nurse in charge
  • Registering patient information, admissions, discharges, transfers and booking of inpatient and outpatient appointments.
  • Stock control
  • Reconsolidating invoices and other clerical tasks
  • Liaising with other administration assistants across the HITH services from other sites.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Teamwork, compassion and problem solving
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, word, excel
  • Experience in EMR, SMR, IPM computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Previous administration skills in health care
