About the role
- Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager in a part time, fixed term 12 month position until Feb 2027 working out of Monash Children’s Hospital – Paediatric Surgery at Clayton
- Represent an integral link between the nursing and the broader leadership team
- Support nurses whilst working closely with the Nurse Manager to help drive the operational requirements and key performance indicators (KPI’s) of the department to deliver outstanding patient centred care
- Responsible for supporting the management of specific portfolios, including but not limited to: Clinical support and education, Roster and leave management, Support services, Staff performance review and development (Grade 2 Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses), Quality and safety, Daily operational performance / support
Requirements
- Experience as an ANM and leading a shift is essential
- Paediatric experience is essential in this role
- You are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHRPA)
- Willingness to take on a portfolio(s) contributing to ward quality improvements and National Standards
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
