About the role
- Provide comprehensive medical assessment and intervention for refugees and asylum seekers with complex health conditions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nursing, allied health, and community services.
- Support refugee health nurses in care coordination and clinical decision-making.
- Contribute to medical undergraduate training and education initiatives.
- Build capacity within Monash Health and the primary care sector to improve refugee health responses.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, research, and service development projects.
- Advocate for person-centred, culturally responsive care aligned with the social model of health
Requirements
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Fellowship of the RACGP or equivalent
- Working with Children's Certificate.
