About the role
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, and teams
- Lead and assist in the design and customization of application functionality, including creation of custom fields, views, reports, workflows, and dashboards
- Manage Salesforce security, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets; design, develop, test, and monitor systems security and user management
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support Salesforce ecosystem
- Perform various systems analysis duties including leading/assisting in identifying business requirements, analyzing issues, and communicating with end users to assess needs and optimize business solutions
- Perform and oversee various application administration duties including user maintenance, data cleansing, and security setup
- Coordinate with application provider/vendor or third parties for application upkeep and updates/upgrades
- Management of external resources and engagement, when appropriate
- Troubleshoot issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
- Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process to support a quality deliverable
- Drive user adoption and engagement through training programs and support
- Manage and train other team members as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 6+ years’ Salesforce Administration experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
- Leverage data loader and other mass cleaning tools to keep the org well maintained healthy
- Implement and maintain automation within Salesforce to streamline processes
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Enterprise integration experience using MuleSoft
- Strong understanding of software development, software testing types, techniques, and principles
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently in a team environment, high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
- Results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and business unit relationships
- Ability to manage other systems admins
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed
- Must have a wired internet connection using an ethernet port. Broadband internet wired to the home is required - Cable Modem/service or Fiber Optic. No Satellite, 4/5G, or DSL circuits
