About the role

  • At the front line of sales—identifying, engaging, and qualifying new leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Execute outbound business development via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
  • Research and identify potential prospects within target segments.
  • Articulate Molecule's value proposition to senior decision-makers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate prospect data and activities in HubSpot CRM.
  • Work with the EU Sales Director to define target accounts and outreach strategies.
  • Partner with marketing to align campaigns and provide market feedback.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and demos; meet activity targets and stay informed on industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a similar commercial role (preferably in SaaS or technology).
  • Energy/commodity trading knowledge would be desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional European languages a plus).
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and engaging decision-makers over phone/email.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM).
  • A self-starter with resilience, persistence, and a growth mindset.
  • Interest in developing into a full sales role over time.
