About the role

  • Manage a dynamic team of individuals who constantly search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of technology systems to meet business needs
  • Provide direction on staff development and training, budget management, feasibility studies, delegation, project and resources control
  • Maintain effective, productive, and professional working relationships with internal and external customers, third party vendors, project management office, relationship managers, and governance organizations in accomplishing project objectives
  • Contribute to the development of business application tactical plans
  • Manage all aspects of development, installation, maintenance, and enhancement for mission-critical application systems for an assigned unit/area
  • Develop, document, and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application quality objectives, and lessons learned
  • Ensure that applications systems are developed in compliance with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
  • Develop and deliver training on established project standards, methodology, and quality objectives
  • Proactively seek opportunities to apply technology to expanding business potential

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 1-3 years of management experience
  • 5+ years in business application design and systems development, including implementation and installation
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
