About the role
- Manage store operations and personnel to ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company policies
- Achieves revenue, budget and other business objectives for each fiscal year
- Develops business relationships with key customers
- Clearly defines goals and objectives for SSC personnel
- Provides leadership and direction in the pursuit of store objectives
- Develops and implements strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals
- Advises customer on product selection and pricing
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of SSC to conform to budgetary requirements
- Ensures prudent credit transactions and manages account collections
- Manages store metrics to ensure performance
- Ensures compliance with Human Resource policies
Requirements
- HS diploma and 5+ years relevant sales experience required OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1+ years of relevant sales experience
- 4 years prior selling experience
- Prior customer service experience is a plus
- Minimum 2 years previous management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
