About the role
- Actively manage and oversee litigation, including primary responsibility for litigating employment matters in federal court
- Manage outside counsel for certain litigation matters, including providing strategic guidance, case management, and coordinating internally with business teams to gather relevant information
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on litigation-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Maintain effective communication with insurance carriers and other third parties
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in Georgia
- 5+ years of experience in litigation at a law firm, government, or in-house
- Employment litigation experience highly preferred
- Federal clerkship preferred
- Trial experience preferred
