About the role
- Own the North America events portfolio across owned, third-party, partner-led, and sales-driven programs
- Define clear frameworks for: Which events we invest in, Levels of spend, Event ownership (Marketing vs Sales vs Partners)
- Lead events end to end, from strategy through execution and post-event impact
- Make decisions and execute amid shifting priorities, constraints, and incomplete information
- Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to align events to target accounts and regional needs
- Work with Partnerships to manage shared ownership, branding, and expectations
- Collaborate with Demand Gen, Content, and Brand to ensure clear messaging and consistent experiences
- Manage budgets and make deliberate tradeoffs
- Communicate event impact and influence future investment decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years of event or field marketing experience, ideally in high-growth enterprise SaaS
- Strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partners without formal authority
- Clear understanding of sales-led vs marketing-led events
- Flexible, hands-on operator with a “multiple hats” mindset
- Comfortable with an “ask for forgiveness, not permission” operating style
- Resilient under pressure and steady in messy environments
