About the role
- You drive the further development of controlling instruments, reporting structures and digital tools (e.g., Power BI, BI systems) and thus actively shape the transformation of the Controlling function
- You prepare insightful financial analyses, variance and scenario analyses, and provide decision support for Executive Management
- You support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting and liquidity planning, and contribute to monthly and annual financial closings
- You monitor and analyze financial KPIs, profitability and cash flow and further develop KPI-based monitoring
- You make complex interrelationships transparent through clear reports and analyses—for Executive Management and affiliated entities
- You identify risks and opportunities and actively contribute to strategic projects as well as to the continuous improvement of processes
- You coordinate the external audit process and work closely with Accounting and other departments
- You act as the primary contact for business units and stakeholders on all controlling-related matters
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in Controlling, ideally within leasing companies, financial services or comparable industries
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with BI tools
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and HGB/IFRS
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Ability to present complex financial matters clearly and to consolidate information across functions
- High initiative, reliability and strong communication skills in a mid-sized company environment
